BEFORE YOU BUY

We answer your emails from Monday to Thursday.

Items can be viewed in our secondhand store Monday through Friday (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and on request on Saturdays (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

The colour of the items may vary slightly from the photos.

The items we sell have been in use for many years — some for over 100 years. They show signs of wear and tear, such as scratches and stains. Prolonged use may have weakened them. When possible, these imperfections are described in the product description or shown in the photos.

CONDITION

We classify our items according to their condition as follows:

Condition: 1 (new with original packaging). The item is in its original, unopened packaging.

Condition: 2 (like new with very few or no traces of use). The item is new and has not been used. The original packaging has been opened and the item may have very slight signs of handling.

Condition: 3 (very good with very few and/or light traces of use). The item has been used but shows almost no signs of wear.

Condition: 4+ (very good with traces of age and/or of use). The item has been used but shows only slight signs of normal wear and tear.

Condition: 4 (good with traces of age and/or of use). The item shows normal signs of use. It may have minor flaws as described in the listing or visible in the photos.

Condition: 5 (fairly good with traces of age and/or of use). Item usable but showing significant signs of wear.

Condition: 6 (average with significant traces of use). Usable item that can be kept as it is or restored.

Condition: 7 (defect – to restore or for spare parts).

In our shop in Basel: Payment in cash, by card or with Twint.

PICKUP

All items purchased online can be collected from our second-hand shop in Basel (Monday-Friday, 10.00am-12.00pm – 1.00pm-5.00pm and Saturday 10.00am-5.00pm).

SHIPPING

Items are usually shipped within 48 hours at the economy rate. However, if we receive payment on a Friday, your parcel will not leave until the following Tuesday. National or local holidays may also cause delays in shipping.

We can also send your item at the priority rate, urgent rate or with acknowledgement of receipt for an additional payment. Please contact us by e-mail as soon as you have made your purchase.

Great care is taken with packaging. Wherever possible, we use recycled packaging material.

Buy several items and pay for a single shipment! Shipping costs depend on the weight of the items and the postal charges. Please contact us before placing your order.

DELIVERY ABROAD

In principle, we only deliver within Switzerland. Shipping costs to other countries are very high. f you live outside Switzerland, please contact us before purchasing a product.
