Walter Bosse Elephant 1950.
A small Mid-Century Modern elephant from Walter Bosse’s famous “Black-Gold” series.
Probably made in Herta Baller’s studio in Vienna in the 1950s.
Made of bronze or brass with the characteristic black patina. The polished areas reveal the golden metal beneath.
Condition: 4+ (very good with traces of age and/or of use).
