JW tin windup elephant 1950.
Lithographed tin-plated toy with a winding mechanism by Josef Wagner, Altes Nürnberger Blechspielzeug.
2 balls rise to the top of the tower with the help of a worm screw, fall into the elephant’s basket, slide down the gutter to the tower and rise again, while a propeller turns at the end of the elephant’s trunk.
Made in Germany in the 50s.
Condition: 4 (good with traces of age and/or of use).
Functional.
