Description
Bull Dog Bank.
Hand-painted cast-iron money box.
This is probably a relatively old reproduction of a piggy bank made in 1880 in the USA by J. & E. Stevens. Stevens.
Condition: 4 (good with traces of age and/or of use).
The mechanism works, but strangely, the dog’s mouth isn’t wide enough to swallow coins.
